Student Welfare Schemes

Library :

The College has a very resourcefull library having more than 1,30,000 books on various subjects, . Separate SC/ST book bank facility is also available . The Reference Section has subscriptions to vaious periodicals and magazines. To facilitate smooth functioning of the library, the Library automation and computerization work has been initiated. 

NCC :

The College NCC Unit has a strength of 120 students, Apart from weekly parades, the students are trained in life skills, soft skills and discipline. The NCC students of the college have achieved many coveted positions in the society.

NSS :

The College has 2 units oF NSS. The spirit of camaraderie and freindship are nurtured among students through this programme. It provides scope for self development and community concern.

Sport facilities :

The College has a well established sports utilities centre. Students are encouraged to participate in various sports/games events and physical education is given top priority in the unit. Many students of the college have carved a niche by participating in state and National level Events. Also, the college has well equipped gym facility.

UGC Remedial coaching for SC / ST and Minority Students:

UGC Remedial coaching for SC/ST and Minority and OBC (Excluding creamy layer ) Students. In order to improve the academic standards, language skills of students belonging to SC/ST Minority and OBC groups the college organises remedial classes through the UGC financial support.

Students Counseling Centre :

Comprises of more than 4 trained counsellors from the faculty. The counsellors reach out to the students formally and informally. 

Placement Cell :
Extends its service to the students in career guidance, organizes lectures concerning career planning and invites companies for campus recruitment.

Canteen :
Provides wholesome food to the students at subsidized rates.

Grievance Redressal Cell :
Actively interacts with students to help them sort out their grievances. It attends to both registered and unregistered grievances of the students.

Sexual Harassment Redressal Cell :
Sensitizes the students to develop a healthy relationship with the opposite gender. It acts rigorously to check the transgressions of the code of conduct of the students.

Gender orientation cell :
Creates awareness of the socio-cultural, political and biological complexities of the issue. It enhances the understanding of the other gender.
